I took out my vegetable drawer to make room for beer.

I wonder what’s the second dirtiest place in the kitchen… perhaps the meat locker (as if Earl and Opal have one)

What’s a vegetable drawer ? I know what a junk drawer and a silverware drawer is, but I didn’t know that one of my kitchen drawers was dedicated to vegetables. It would be pretty tough cramming the lettuce and cauliflower into it.

All our vegetables are cleaned with baking soda when I get them home and put in a plastic bag. Many are put directly in the freezer after drying them and putting them in freezer bags. I could never understand how people could buy and put them directly in the frig. Maybe back in the 50, and 60s and even 70s but today….NOPE!

Vegetable drawer? What is this “vegetable drawer” that you speak of? Is that what the “Bacon overflow” drawer is supposed to be called?

Oddly enough, I recall living in a house that had a “bread drawer”.

I hide my husband’s Christmas presents in the vegetable drawers. It’s the one place he’s guaranteed to never look.

I would think it would be the kitchen sink. I know mine is! Although I do disinfect it after having raw meat “in” there…. :/
