Stone age? How did Wilma and Betty even manage to keep their hair straight?

Considering it’s Earl – good question.

I couldn’t let a setup like that pass with my wife either.

Just damp your hair down and put in rollers.

Opal’s trying to improve the imperfections that Earl stopped seeing a long time ago.

She has to TELL him that the power is out..?? – Seriously..?? – Is he THAT STUPID..??

She set him up for that crack. If I were Earl, I wouldn’t be able to resist, either.

My husband always preferred no makeup and natural hair, just without the carelessness not ‘not noticing’ as the above.

Earl’s still got “hoof in mouth” disease!

If he can see to read the paper, she can see to put on makeup. Quit being so melodramatic, woman.

So that’s why her hair has looked rumpled lately.

When you’re at the age where you’ve given up and gone with short, man-style hair what difference does it make?

Slap him on top of his bald head Opal!

Now if Earl would have said the same thing, phrased differently, it would be a lot better. “Pearl, you’re beautiful just the way you are”. Also I noticed the reading the paper thing too, if he can see to read, I don’t understand her makeup issues.

Not comparing the two but I shave in the shower, no mirror. After awhile doesn’t a woman get a feel for how much makeup goes where? Are there any women who put on makeup without benefit of a mirror?

Sad that appearances seem to be more important these days.
