I tell people that, if they can only visit one place in Italy, chose Venice. Rome is spectacular, but it comes in second in my no-longer humble opinion.
The end of the trip? I’ve so enjoyed this storyline. I feel like I’m there with them. Glad the trip has turned out so well without anything going wrong. (knock on wood!) Trip’s not over yet.
