Well, at least Oskar’s parents didn’t name him Victor. (I thought the surname Frankenstein was fictional to be honest.)

Well, he only has three fingers (and a thumb, like most humanoid cartoon characters), so maybe that principle applies to rank stripes too.

As long as he is the senior officer in command, by traditional sailing ship protocol, he is called by the courtesy title of “Captain” while at sea.

Does General Mills out rank Captain Crunch? Or am I making a major mistake — let’s just keep this private!

Back in the day when everyone had a Rubik’s cube, I found a book telling how to solve it. When I was at a date’s house, and she went to the kitchen to fix another drink, I would solve the cube, and put it right back where I found it. Then when I went home, I would wait for the phone to ring.

The commander of a vessel is always the Captain regardless of rank

Boris Karloff of Frankenstein fame was the great nephew of Anna Leonowens, the teacher whose story is told in “Anna and the King of Siam” and the musical “The King and I”.

So the Rubik’s version of the Bacon game relies on 20 degrees from the solution…

Captain James Tiberius Kirk only had three stripes, because ensigns had none.Maybe in Cap’n Crunch’s navy they have a similar display of rank protocol.

Actually, if solved perfectly, any mix can be solved in 17 (or less) moves.
