Hi pamlicorat, my ex father-in-law used to keep pecans and Indian corn by his back door, he would crack the nuts just a bit,& they would come in the door and climb up to his shoulders and sit there and be fed. I tried it too,& their great little creachers. They knew they had to stay by the door and they went bk out after feeding. The funny thing is that they would plant the corn and it would come up the next Fall!!!
