The squirrels in our area keep forgetting where they hide their acorns (some, anyway) and I find them when they have sprouted.

As long as they have opposable thumbs and are able to open cans, it doesn’t matter where they stashed the nuts, right?

I let the spring squirrel volunteer salad bar go until I have to mow.

We bag up acorns and sash them in the freezer for the squirrels winter diet. We also purchase raw peanuts, which they bury. Come spring we have a small peanut farm in our back yard.

Green spam and matching gutters make an impression.
