There ought to be a law against texting in public.

Can’t tell you how often we’ve been in a restaurant and seen couples or families with younger kids all on their phones or tablets. No conversation. It won’t be long people will forget how to verbalize.

I would absolutely love a non texting section!

I’d much rather have a no call section than a no texting section.

    “Smoking or non-smoking?”

    “Smoking.”

“Cell phones or no cell phones?”

    “Cell phones.”

“Loud children or no loud children?”

    “Loud children.”

    “Follow me, please.”

I think this is an excellent idea, we are too absorbed in technology

My wife commutes by train, and they have Quiet Cars enforced during peak commute hours. No phones to be used, and keep conversations quiet. She rides in that car.

I don’t care how much texting people do. I don’t know them and have no intention of interacting with them. So, they can do whatever they want. The phone call and their talking, THAT does bother me. Now they are invading my space. Keep quiet and text away!
