3 km = 1.86 miles… that IS awfully slow

Uggghhhhh, I hate these traffic bottlenecks!

Then, turn your head and watch the sunset!

Also, don’t drive with your eyes closed and your hands flailing. It’s just not safe.

She should have left the house earlier.

She should probably have stayed home and watched it with her kids.

I doubt that heavy traffic on that road is a new thing. She should have known to leave home earlier.

She complains about drivers the same way I do.

Elly, I get the feeling that most of us don’t slow down and watch enough sunsets.

I prefer watching a sunset when I am not behind the wheel of a 3000 pound device which if not handled properly, has all the destructive power of an artillery shell.

She must not live in the USA.

We would all benifit from watching more sunsets.

Yawn, another Mommy On A Mission…

I know Canada is officially metric, but I’m surprised it was in common parlance back then. Watching Top Gear, it seems The British still colloquially used Imperial measure for most things, except, say, “liters of petrol.”

Lynn’s Notes:

I said I often used the strip to “lecture.” In this case, I was lecturing myself.

I used to see the most incredible sunsets and lightning storms on my commute home. Never did get around to setting up a voice-controlled camera on my dashboard to take pics, though.

“11 minutes” and “3km” — very specific measurements. Methinks someone is being a bit anal. Yes, take in the sunset.

This situation is what the horn is for, use it. BEEP! BEEP! It’s what I do when traffic is going below the speed limit for no apparent reason (e.g. a wreck, weather conditions, etc.)

It seems to me from the various bits of data that she meant to say driving at 3 KM instead of “3km below the speed limit”.
