    A frog’s brain has a very simple software code: if it’s big and it doesn’t move, it’s the environment: do nothing. If it’s big and it moves, it’s a predator: flee. If it’s small and it moves, it’s food: stick your tongue out at it. If it’s small and it doesn’t move ignore it.

    Scientists put some hungry frogs in a chamber with a bunch of suspended dead insects. The frogs didn’t touch them.
