When I was a kid, my folks moved across town, about 8 miles, with our cocker spaniel Spooky on the floor by the back seat, unable to view any landmarks. They let him out at the new house and he promptly disappeared. The next day, the neighbors at the old house called, Spooky was sitting on our back porch of the old house. Dad went and got him. Spooky lived another 5 years or so, but he never revealed his secret.
Like Greyfriar’s Bobby! They put up a statue of him (life size – it’s pretty small) in Edinburgh and made a movie of his faithfulness. btw – It’s Scot’s or Scottish – Scotch is whiskey – and only Scotch Whiskey is spelled that way – everything else is whisky.

If there isn’t a movie about this dog, one needs to be made!

Today Bobbie would be smashed on the interstate by an 18 wheeler. Sad
