Because they’re all too young to drink wine, which, in my understanding, is the main point of a book club.

When I drew this comic, I had never watched or read Harry Potter. I was Jack. Now I am Charlotte. I love Potter, wizarding and wizards and spells.

A book club is really only good if you like the same books the other people like.

    CLOB!! Ha Ha Ha!!

Not sure what it means in the context of the story line here, but…

An Oracle CLOB data type. A CLOB (character large object) value can be up to 2,147,483,647 characters long. A CLOB is used to store unicode character-based data, such as large documents in any character set. The length is given in number characters for both CLOB, unless one of the suffixes K, M, or G is given, relating to the multiples of 1024, 1024*1024, 1024*1024*1024 respectively.

Length is specified in characters (unicode) for CLOB.

Would not want to be in Jack’s shoes. Being a Brit whose never read JK Rowling is like being an American whose never seen Star Wars.
