That looks like somebody wearing a Marty Moon mask in P1, with that line down the side of his face.

Gil is a woss he should kick Moon’s butt once and for all. As to the lack of depth…Gil needs to hit the local feeder (grade) schools if he wants to build depth. Problem is he has lost his enthusiasm and energy…time for a coaching switch

I’m glad they are filling me in today. I was listening to the show and smashed my radio after hearing that evil man insult Coach Thorp.

Look closely at panel one. It’s not Marty. It’s someone wearing a Marty mask. Seriously, what is that line on the side of his face supposed to be? (Those offended by comments satirizing the artwork….. skip this one.)

Wait! Maybe Milford is just a metaphor. Maybe Marty is right and Milford isn’t a public school where the coach is stuck with whatever local talent shows up. Maybe Milford is a Private HS. Could R&W be telling us stories about Villanova or Tulane?

Why doesn’t Gil ever work out with Steve Boone or trainer Rick Scott?
