I have five dogs. One of them eats like Doggonit here. Two eat very neatly and daintily. The fourth one takes out the kibbles one at a time and places them on the floor, then eats them. And the last one just sort of tips the bowl back into her mouth and eats everything in one giant gulp. Then she announces loudly that she is finished, as though she just won a pie eating contest. :-)
I had a rescue Sheltie who used to grab a piece of kibble in her mouth, carry it under the kitchen table to chew and swallow, then back to the bowl for the next piece. She was our only dog at the time. Makes me wonder just what kind of life she had before we found her cowering in the culvert under the driveway, covered in mange and half starved. With lots of love, patience, and good veterinary care, she blossomed into a beautiful, loving, protective companion.

And I thought it was “eat like I don’t have to clean up afterwards”
