The Republican Rosenstein—who appointed the Republican Mueller—was himself appointed by a Republican: Donald Trump.

5/ Republicans control the White House. Republicans control the United States House of Representatives. Republicans control the United States Senate.

That means Republicans control every one of the three Trump-Russia investigations that are currently ongoing in Washington, D.C.

It is ill-mannered to demean the agency. The great majority of the employees are dedicated civil servants — and I emphasize the word servant. If you don’t like the leadership, criticize the individual. Painting with such a broad brush is unethical and lazy. It also encourages others who do not bother to pursue the facts and follow the data whither it leads.

This is anti-patriotic in so many ways.

Trump, friend of Putin, said the FBI was in terrible shape.

I would trust the FBI long before I would trust either a member of Congress or the President. I would trust the FBI long before I trusted either a member of the Democrat party or the Republican. These are people who swore an Oath to the Constitution, not to their party. Thank god above for the good men and women of the FBI.

Trump started the other day by slamming the FBI and ended the day by praising Putin.
