OK, it’s basketball season but like the goatee guy, PR has lots of terrific baseball players. Where’s this going? Georgia is OK for basketball but if an environment will help him play basketball, the writers should have had him live in KENTUCKY!

Not sure which seven years of his 17 or so he spent in Georgia, but the Southern accent seems pretty unlikely. I have a friend who has spent big chunks of his life in Spain and speaks Spanish fluently, but he has no trace of a Spanish accent when he speaks English.

I spent 7 years in Georgia one night. Apologies to the estate of the late great W.C. Fields and the city of Philadelphia.

What are the odds his sister will turn out to be a star basketball player for Mimi.

P2, Gil, that lobster claw isn’t getting any better in your old age.

P3, It doesn’t look like all the king’s horses and all the king’s men could put that mess back together again. But I bet the Kingsmen could play a rousing version of Louie Louie while they try.

I mentioned a couple of days ago, how I’ve heard from contacts that PR is still messed up big time and little to no aid is getting in there. They need our help!!

In all reality, Gil says Hey I’ve got a great idea , Rick Soto is a great singer and puts on a great show . I’ll bet he’d be happy to do a benefit concert to raise money for the Puerto Rico Relief Fund .

P1 & P2- Jorge categorizes his four statements. Hopefully, if he fouls out of a game on the road and the opposing student section chants left! right! left! right!, etc., he won’t be glancing back and forth at his hands.

Padilla seems like a nice guy. Let’s hope so. He’s also penciled in as the starting catcher for baseball and signed up for the next seven month storyline.

P1: This kid’s teeth are as stunning as his lips

P2: Gill believes if he can talk to Rick, they may have the makings of a pretty good barber shop quartet

P3: Meanwhile, in the poor side of Central City

Hopefully the Commonwealth will be able to do something with their economy also, it was bankrupt before the hurricane.

Well, I guess this is going to be the dialogue for the next two weeks while this kid sits in Gil’s office recapping everything, while RW try to figure out the story.

Those of you concerned about the apparent jump into modern times with this hurricane reference – relax. Notice they don’t mention the name of the hurricane. I believe they are talking about Hurricane Hugo, 1989. And speaking of Hugo, why don’t hu-go over to Mopped Up Thorp and check out today’s entry.
