Looks more like a red oak – pin oak leaves are thinner (thin like a pin!)

What’s the point?
We have Live Oaks and Pines, some Redwoods. Of course it tends to stay pretty green and leafy most of the year here. Actually saw some snow here about 20 years ago.
Aladdin - oak trees hold onto their leaves until the new buds start in the spring. I think that’s what the Tortoise is upset about.
