When you hire a kid as a babysitter who is known for getting into public physical battles with his sister and not so long ago sent her to the ER, then he is going to eventually resort to violence and threats. This sort of action would be effective with most kids, but the longer this goes on, the more I think there is something wrong with Christopher and Richard. When I was that age, if a bigger kid threw me to the ground and threatened to hit and kill me, I would have left well enough alone.
Haha, this one is great. Michael acting like you’d expect him to act, and the kids just tormenting him at every turn. He’s not used to being a disciplinarian!
Ok, Michael’s shot his bolt. What now? Suggest he turns on the tv and lets them watch until they fall asleep or their mother comes home, whichever comes first.
“When your parents ask me how you kids behaved, what would you like me to tell them?” They may not fear the babysitter, but they should fear the wrath of Mom.
That’s why Annie was desperate; all the previous sitters refuse to work for her. Annie needs to wake up to the situation and do something to get the 2 boys under control.

My advice: just do it, and then throw them back to bed!

I see the problem as the kids think of Michael as a close friend, so they want to play. Mike has no leverage here. It’s flat out funny, though!

Christopher is mistaking Michael for Lawrence.

Kind of fun that this story arc is running the same time as a Calvin-Roslyn arc.
