A roaring economy, after 8 years of doldrums, looks pretty good. Mostly due to diminishment of regulators in US economy. Corp tax cuts will probably make it even stronger over the next few years.

The unleashed military wiped out ISIS, which did not exist befor 2012 and only grew stronger through 2016. The government of the US is moving its embassy to the capital of Israel, a rare nod to reality in geopolitics. Iran is rioting. Much now going in the right direction, for the first time since US troops were precipitously withdrawn from Iraq.

Tossing the leftists out was the best thing we could have hoped for in 2016, and 2017 was the proof.

What was wrong with 2017? What an idiot question!

Harvey - that ring a bell? Ask Houston what was wrong with Harvey.

Irma? Ask Puerto Rico what went wrong.

    California wine country fire, anyone?

    Las Vegas shooting, anyone?

A mass murder in a small church in a small town in Texas, anyone?

The list goes on and on, especially if one stops being a provincial and looks at the whole world.
