I always thought is was sweet of the wolves that they can admit, both to themselves and to the mice, that no matter how much they’d love to meet the mice, they’d probably eat them. This is an impressive show of self-awareness and humility for what are usually portrayed as proud hunters.

Too bad. The wolves are about their only audience. When mice play their tiny instruments, only wolves or dogs can hear it.

They need a little practice on being sheep in wolves’ clothing, so to speak.

If the mice play music by Arnold Schoenberg they deserve to be eaten.

Buster, the cat, thanked the mice for the nice party and then he ate them.

I was gonna say, Grog …

So, it’d be a Meet, Greet, and Eat?

    Great minds think alike.

    Good Evening, Crew.
