Is it just a coincidence that this story arc is taking place during the 40th anniversary of Moon Maid’s untimely death?

It seems that smoking in malls is still permitted in Tracy’s universe. In fact I think this and Bloom County are the only two where anyone smokes.

I assume that Mysta also received the alarms and is now on her way to the mall.

Ok Tracy Historians, here’s a question I don’t feel like googling (lol) did Posie Ermine ever cross paths with Mr Bribery “back in the day”? Just asking cuz i dont know if he would notice a resemblance between Ugly Crystal and Ugly Christine

Also, back when Bribery was first around, was he this obsessed with Lunarians?

This reminds me of a bit from a classic SF novel by Alfred Bester, “The Demolished Man”. It’s set in a future society where telepaths are common. In one scene, we visit the home of one Esper who has a theory that all humans possess latent telepathic abilities which can be brought out through a kind of immersive experience. So we see him with a group of volunteers, telepathically shouting at them to get them to react. “I KNOW YOU CAN HEAR ME!!!!” he thinks. And one guy does flinch. “Aha! You heard that!” “No, I think a bug bit me.”

The last few panels seem to be a meaningless distraction from the central action of the sequence. Sorry, I know I am supposed to enjoy it. Moon Maid was part of the quality decline of the strip in the 1950’s

Moon governor has misspelled “blonde.” And has he not noticed those two antennae all a-quiver atop her head? His telepathic sending was very strong. He has caused Honeymoon pain. But that is of no concern to him, for he has a Quest, to find his “descendants” (plural), as he puts it. Posie seems to me utterly uninterested but nonetheless tagging along for his own reason.

If one person can have her DNA overwritten with Moon Maid’s, why not more?
