No Tommy dear, that pinecone makes you look adorable :) On a side note, pinecones are excellent projectiles for the intrepid feline guaranteed to exasperate your people – magnificent lift and distance can be achieved with larger specimens especially – I think Lupin should conduct a special report on this :)

Ok another survey question. I am going to make two posts for this one, because some answers could be spoilers. This one will be the spoiler thread. With the new leash on life, and nope we own it lines from yesterday, I was wondering what are some of people’s favorite lines from BCN?

When BCN gets around to hiring an intern (spoiler averted!) we need to make sure Tommy only gets decaf.

They removed Marc’s breathing and feeding tubes yesterday and he’s able to talk a bit now. Yay! Now he has to rest and recover so he can have the bypass. Thank you for all the prayers, well-wishing, and orb bumps.

With tomorrow being the day to remember Martin Luther King Jr., in the U.S., I wish to reassure the good people the president has insulted that he does NOT represent me or my personal orb!

I live in a multicultural neighborhood and though we are all struggling, we are doing our best to be good citizens. Yes, we have the odd few who are troublesome, but those of European descent number the highest percentage there. We’re all just folks, like all folks everywhere. But folks I’m glad to have as neighbors!

On behalf of my orb, I wish to extend deepest apologies to everyone upset by what they’ve heard.I am for brotherhood, acceptance, opportunities & love. We shall overcome, Dr. King! We won’t forget!>^.,.^<

Happy Caturday, fellow orbsters. Here in Barrie, Ontario, we are back in the deep freeze (not being Tommy, I don’t approve of this). I think my favourite phrase from the strip has to be “ma’am, ma’am, MA’AM!” Warm orb bumps to all and orb hugs to all those who need them.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.‘s day of remembrance is the third Monday of January. The children get off school here, but my little community has no events, as it’s predominately caucasian. I would hope the schools could better use the children’s time in ways to celebrate the diversity of people while building a unity of brother & sisterhood. That’s why I’m glad my diverse little neighborhood is growing. One day the community will have to pay real attention to MLK Day & what it entails.

The more we know of one another, the less there is to fear. Fear divides. It easily turns to hate & eats away the heart of courage and compassion. But it can be healed! Love can do it. Yeah it takes commitment, getting out of one’s comfort zone, & stepping into the unknown. For me, the rewards are monumental! I still have a long way to go, but now I look forward to the journey! Loving gets better & easier! And include the critters! We have a lot we can learn from them! >^.,.^< Blessings, beloved orbsters! :-D

Tommy is pure joy!! No matter how much I love all of the characters, he is the true heart of the BCN team!

There are so many wonderful lines that Georgia has given us over the course of the adventures she’s shared with us, it’s impossible for me to choose only one favorite… Some of mine are “Every heart doubles as a compass, Puck.” (I seriously need a coffee mug with a picture of Burt and that quote), “Never guess she’s artificial.”, “Nibble, nibble, I love kibble.” and “Boxes are never empty because they are always filled with adventure.”

Elizabeth Lawrence, I LOVE your beautiful avatar! Is your baby a Russian Blue? Dusty is all blue, but for the faintest striping on his tail in sunlight. Just a country kitty, but a sweetie!

Spoke with Wayne this morning. He will be moved to a rehab center on Monday. (I assume for his foot and shoulder issues, but the stubborn old cuss changed the subject when I asked.) He also wouldn’t tell me if they told him what is causing his sodium deficiency, but did say that his levels are stable, finally. I’ll probably end up having to get any straight answers from his son.

Welllll, you do make the pine cone look skinny.
