Almost reminds me of one scene in the 1949 TV short “Goofy Gymnastics.”

But Peter, I’m doing pull-downs, not pull-ups. If the bar were attached, I couldn’t possibly pull it down.

At least he’s doing some kind of lifting.

But that makes it so much harder…

Even lifting a light bar over his head 708 times would be pretty impressive.

“Private Space Cadet, you mean to tell me that you cannot do one simple pullup?”

“You are a worthless piece of crap-get out of my face!”

“Hey. You do it your way; I’ll do it mine.”

He’s still exercising — it’s just that he’s exercising his legs.

For Jason that is doing great. Even I could handle that.

At least he’s making the effort!

Classic humor. Jason must be buffing up to impress a certain girl… You all know who I’m talking about. He’s never shown a spirt to get in shape so it must be to impress.

What is it with “GO COMICS”. They don’t understand that I am not going to become a member and they just have to keep hounding me? I guess they think if they use enough ‘pop-ups’ that I’ll give in……WRONG. I’ll just go somewhere else. Must have voted for ShrilLIARy.
