I find it ironic that the investigation into Russian PED use was initiated, led, and reported upon by the USA. The only that could be more hypocritical would be if China were leading it.
While the IOC and FIFA would be in a dead heat for worldwide bribery, skullduggery, gross incompetence, and self-delusion, there’s nothing like the NFL in the U.S.A. to outdo those two “sports” entities at greed and corruption !
Actually the IOC, like Trump, bigly admires Putin’s ability to have journalists and other opponents disappear or die under tragic and mysterious circumstances.
The I.O.C. has a long standing tradition of being nefarious. Avery Brundage as a known Nazi sympathizer and avowed racist. The U.S. was “awarded” the Winter Games in Salt Lake after a massive bribery scandal. Of course, that wasn’t revealed until after the fact. Why anyone would want to host the Olympics now is beyond baffling. Spend lots of money, especially taxpayer money that could go to those niggling needs like schools and infrastructure, only to pile up massive amounts of debt.
