Mm, is that fuse already lit?? Chester had better stick that baby in the ground while he still has a nice open field. Or else it’s, “To the Moon, Chester”.

If Chester’s lucky, he’ll just get the clothes scorched off of him. If the rest of Ballard Street is lucky, he’ll get away from it before that happens.

    Naw, the fuse isn’t lit.

    But Chester may be lit.

    It remains to be seen.

That is, if a squad car shows up with a Breathalyzer (and maybe some handcuffs) before there are only remains to be seen.

Anyway, the fuse is just frayed.

    and I’m afraid.

If that’s for Chinese New years, Chester is about a month early. If it’s for the Fourth of July, he’s very early.

Chester, partially passed Pyng Pyong’s Pyrotechnical Preparatory…preferring to pursue his personal passion for pyrotechny, in public percussive performances.

Didn’t the Ballard City Council and Street Sweepers Assoc. Shut down this business?

Or did he open in a new store out to the InnerState?

Either way Chester finally found his niche

Doesn’t bode well for any vets with PTSD.

This morning i got a text from the widow of one of my old clients. Her dog (St. Bernard) was down and having some kind of issue, and she asked if i could bring my van.

(Thank you again to everyone that helped me get it.)

By the time i got there she had called her Vet. They contacted another Vet that did house calls. He wasn’t going to be there for another hour, so i got down on the floor to pet and comfort Cadbury (as in the candy because she’s so sweet). Mom couldn’t because she is also a client with mobility issues of her own.

The vet got there and said that he couldn’t do anything. The issue was somehow neurological. And it was probably causing a lot of pain. Cadbury was panting and foaming and lost control of her bladder.

By that time there were three caregivers there.

We comforted the lady (whose name i can’t use here because she is a client) and the dog as the Vet gave Cadbury her last shots.

I then took Cadbury to the pet crematory.

Cadbury WAS sweet, just like her name. A big goofy loveing old puppy.

My friend/client is now home alone. And i feel terrible for her.
