So, that makes it the THIRD time it ran. You can find it at January 24, 2007 exactly as shown here. This rerun will go on until about May 21 if it continues into the story of hiring a new dishwasher.
I enjoy the rewinds as well, and can’t imagine the burden of a daily strip year after year. I just pray Jim is taking a well deserved break and that it’s not a health issue. Does anyone know if he has an assistant or apprentice helping out and possibly “in the wings” to take over if/when Jim decides to lay down his pen?
I’m enjoying this because I haven’t seen it before. I love the old strips and the way they were drawn. Jim does great job on his own strips, too. I hope this strip isn’t winding down to an end….sigh.

Thank you – pretty soon I should remember the 1950’s strip – used to love it when I was a kid. Still do.

Why do I get the eerie feeling that “Nancy” and “Gasoline Alley” are seeing their last days?

There’s a heck of a lot of Gasoline Alley i’ve Never seen so i don’t mind these “rewinds” now and then. :)
