Great, we’ve missed two strips, one of which was highly poignant.

Steve’s redeeming feature – the one that permits him to retain his role in the strip – is to be his dedication to desperately ill children. Not bad at all.

The hardest part of my job is when caregiving turns into hospice.

    It hurts. A lot.

It strikes me to wonder if Frank is God. Or an angel, at least.

Lola Granola’s “cameo appearance” brings LIGHT to Mrs. Dumont. Mrs. Dumont in return brings purpose and life to Lola. Pretty fair, as such life-and-death matters go. Steve is but an instrument. Frank, the driving Force….

Unfortunately, if “Facebook” is the only way to follow Mr. Breathed then I guess I’m out of luck. I cancelled my facebook account when it was revealed that the management of E.B. knowingly accepted ads from the Russians to inveigh against Secretary Clinton! And, yes, they KNEW that it was Russians buying the ads, they paid in rubles, for Pete’s sake! Moreover, they then “stonewalled” the government inquiry into the source of the ads!

Facebook was an integral part of the Russian attack on our 2016 election – they WILLINGLY cooperated with the Russians to subvert our election so I’ll have NOTHING TO DO with Facebook, ever again. I realize that just breaks their corporate heart and they miss me desperately (in a pig’s eye!) This is what’s known as a principled stand, for those of you who don’t recognize it. I do not expect ANYONE else to follow my example – it is my stand, alone. And I’ll miss Berkeley if he’s not carried here but that’s the way the cookie crumbles, I guess.
