A less-experienced tiger easily could have mistaken this snowman for a deranged mutant killer midget snow goon.

Actually, Hobbes did bite on this trick in at least one earlier strip so this is more like Calvin going to that well once too often.

Sunday comics are on a different schedule than dailies, so they can add color. Also, there’s some newspapers that pick up just dailies. Because of those reasons, it’s not worth the trouble to coordinate Sunday and Dailies.

In the language of ice hockey, the tiger put a “deke” on Calvin. Since it’s winter, that seemed appropriate…
