My first year in college, I used a bicycle. I would sometimes go to a drive-in theater (anyone remember them?) a couple miles out of town. After the initial shock of a bicycle, they let me sit in the manager’s car to see the film.
Regarding drive-in theaters, why do I have the impression that some locations had speakers mounted on posts for those that wanted to sit out at picnic tables/on a lawn to watch the show?

More like an ‘I-don’t-want-any-company’ car.

I once worked with a woman who used to curl up under her desk to cry. It was pretty awkward walking past her cubicle sometimes.

This was actually LOL funny today, because it’s so relatable.
