Cul de Sac by Richard Thompson for November 19, 2010
Transcript:
Alice: I already decorated my yard for Christmas! Dill: Where? Alice: I put a Santa Claus-shaped candle on my step stool. And you know that Santa rewards the first one to decorate by giving out some extra toys. Dill: We've still got an inflated snowman from last year in my yard! I hope the extra toys I get don't need batteries. Alice: Stuff from last year doesn't count!

Alice makes up the rules to fit the situation. Love Dill’s winter hat.

Aaaaaaaah. Love Alice’s “Queen of the Mouthbreathers” pose in the last panel!! Go R.T, Go R.T., Go!

Alice is sooo frustrated by Dill’s potential win! And he remains blissfully unaware of her seething.
BTW, note the very generous nod to RT and Cul de Sac in the new PBS.

Maybe someone else was first before either one of you, Alice.
Thanks for the link, Sisyphos.

For his own peace of mind, Dill should keep on ignoring Alice’s seathing.

Another nice nod to RT in today’s Pearls Before Swine. (http://www.seattlepi.com/fun/pearls.asp)

No last years decorations don’t count as their function is to drive down the neighbor’s property values.

Obviously, Stephan Pastis knows exactly what he is talking about. Cul de sac is really amazing.

Stephan Pastis does know what he’s talking about … obviously.

IIRC Scott Adams likes Stephan’s strip and talked about how good it was that Pearls was added to a bunch of newspapers and is now quite popular. I think Steph is just passing on the love to Richard. Today is my first view and I like it. :-)
