Why are so many of us dumber than these two ants?

We stop in Vegas all the time……………….actually, in North Las Vegas, Craig offramp……for gas!!!!

We go for the shows. I have a $5.00 a day limit for gambling.

I go for the food (plus conventions).

Years ago a local clued me onto the buffets. At the time, the Golden Nugget was the best - 2 hours of delicious dining for $6!!!

Sadly, it is not such a bargain anymore.

They would catch more ants if they offered adult entertainment

Never been to Vegas but Tunica is fun. It is also an easy drive from there to Memphis which has great music and food.

Closest I’ve ever been to anything like Vegas is Atlantic City. The ocean was nice, but the casino left me utterly unimpressed. Didn’t lose any money but it just wasn’t something that interested me.

Now free Wi-Fi….

None of those perks would be of any interest to me.

What’s done stupid in Vegas, stays stupid for always to put it philosophically.

Whatever $$$ you bring to Vegas, stays in Vegas!

I’ve never been to Las Vegas, but I’d like to go sometime, just to say I’ve done it. A $5.00/day limit seems too restrictive, but I’d set aside a generous amount of what I could AFFORD to lose (say, $500 for a weekend), and try to stick to it.

A friend of mine LOVES Vegas, and she and her husband go a couple of times a year, but they’re both good enough gamblers (she herself has been a semi-pro poker player) that they usually come home a bit to the plus, or no more than a bit to the minus.

Never play the house.

Never.

Betting on someone else’s game is stupid. (Betting isn’t too bright to begin with).

Lottery = Idiot Tax. Doesn’t stop me from occasionally buying a ticket, though.

They just legalized the lottery here in Arkansas about a year ago. So far I’ve won every day. I never, never buy a ticket.

I was against the lottery. (I’m in GA). So I didn’t play it for years after it came out. Then, one day I was with my mother while she was buying her daily tickets, and she asked if I wanted one. It was a $5 ticket. I said I would rather have two $1, and one $3 ticket.

I won $100.

But I still rarely play.

Do those ant trappers really think that most ants are that moral-less? HBO? Poker? Really?
