Earl must be trying for a role in Game of Thrones.

Men’s definition of ‘unkemp’ is entirely different than women’s……men tend to be scruffy ( not shaved) and women tend to look ‘dated’…( clothes are at least 10+ years old. )

Hubby always wears shorts shirts and baggy pants; we never look as if we are going the same place.

Unkempt is one of those words like disgruntled. We never speak of someone being kept or gruntled.

T-Shirts or tank tops, cargo shorts or sports shorts, flip flops or sandals…. Oh ! The daily decisions I’m forced to make !

Have a beard, no need to shave but in deference to kemptitude, I do brush my hair.

His apptitude isn’t that great, either.

Opal don’t look so “kempt” herself!

Who wants to be kept kempt anyway?

Does Opal EVER say anything nice to Earl. She is always meanspirited.

Once I retired my inner Bum surfaced!

Unkempt means uncombed.

I’ve been reading this comic for a year or so, and I will swear that someone has planted hidden cameras in my house and based this strip on me!!
