Sandler is truly a guy who thinks out of the box…or is that out of his head?

I think that was one of Clark’s (from yesterday) ideas.

Every Saturday, Sandler takes the 2:17 pm macramé lanyard, leatherwork and lambada class,

at the Ballard and Main Senior Center and Auto Repair Shop.

He is living proof that, contrary to what Irma says every Saturday at 1:56 pm, as he heads out the door….

It is NOT a silly waste of time.

Sander would love for Irma to join him….

The people are friendly, the instructor brings those tiny teddy-bear-shaped graham crackers to share…

and the walk there encompasses a pleasant stretch of Main Street, with a view of the Aubry’s new mauve garage door,

after a stroll past the prettiest block of East Hyacinth Street.

But no… Irma always has more important things to do,

    less time-wasting things,

like cataloguing her Italian pasta shapes collection.

Does this mean that Sandler has to put his face six inches from the paper in order to write?

Well, the poor guy doesn’t have a shirt pocket, what else can he do?

Sandler also keeps track of his keys. And his wallet. And cell phone. And his comb. And then he can’t see where he’s going.

Sandler likes to claim that his word processor is portable but not cordless.

Sandler no longer worries about those ugly ink stains at the bottom of his pockets.

I can’t remember exactly when I lost the use of my pencil. Sandler’s just bragging.
