If your female life-partner is speaking to you, that’s a very good sign, it means she’s sharing a part of her life (therefore herself) with you. Shut up and appreciate it.
^Sorry, ejcapulet, but sometimes when it goes on and on (especially if you were already in the middle of something), it just sounds like noise. Maybe it is a male/female thing, but some parts of one’s life just don’t need to be shared.
My lovely female accomplice sometimes gets angry because she says something that triggers a completely different thought in my mind from what she was talking about. And then she complains that I’m not listening, so I have to explain the connection which brought up the random…err different thought.
