“Think they are miniature Danes”. Wow, isn’t that the truth! And soooo lovable, that you want to hold them anyway.

A friend of mine said he had a not-so-great Dane , must of had some inferiority issues to deal with.

Kinds reminds me of my two Aussie Shepard mixes…I will end up with 100# of soft, fluffy, HEAVY, doggies panting and puffing hot doggie-breath into my face from time to time! Lil’ Furbabies…

Why is it almost all large dogs think they’re lap dogs?

Our 75 pounder started as a lap dog puppy, and as he kept growingn he still wanted to be as close to us as possible. Now I usually sit on the couch when he wants to cuddle, so he can sit only partly on me.

Many reasons, no doubt, but one is that their owners can’t resist letting them sit in their laps when the dogs are puppies. e.g.Hard to resist a St Bernard puppy right there at prime cuddle level.

Our 60 kilo Pyrenean Mountain Dog (RIP) used to sleep on our bed, just on my legs. Cramp? Did someone say “Cramp”?

I knew someone with a LARGE dog whose version of being a lap-dog was to put her head in your lap. It totally filled the lap.
