Baby steps, baby steps.

The Hooples have had Alfie since he was a wee bitty pup….

probably too wee, cos he apparently didn’t spend enough time with his canine Mom.

 

They only recently noticed that he seems to think he’s human….

he tries to read the paper instead of chasing squirrels….

and last Thursday they found him trying on Alvin’s best slacks.

 

In some ways it’s great….

for instance…. he never tears up the garbage…. just waits patiently next to the refrigerator….

But he also ran up $162.37 in long distance calls to France, calling a cute poodle he met online.

 

So they’ve decided doggie lessons are in order….

it’s not fair to rob him of his canine heritage, is it?

Susan, I saw Algiers last Thursday browsing the plaid fabric in Dennis’s Fine Fabrics and Fishing. Apparently he is making boxer shorts just like Alvin’s! Doesn’t he know Puce plaid will clash with blond fur?

And no, I’m not gonna tell him, he bites when he can’t get his point across. Or am I thinking of Alvin……..never mind.

Why do I notice an auto correct blunder only after I’ve written a big long post? It’s Alfie not Algiers! Sheesh, not even close!
