That’s because the US doesn’t allow immigrant cacti.

He travels most weekends to be a volunteer minister, in a small Mississippi town hit hard by Katrina.

The other days, he has a full time job, not as a pastor, and a family, at home in Georgia.

BTW…. maybe 1000 miles seems like a lot less when you realise it’s round trip….

But to me, 500 miles each way, paying your own costs, seems quite generous enough!

The rolling bridge appears to be a walking bridge.

The “rolling” bridge is more of a bridge that curls up when not in use. It is a pedestrian bridge over a canal.

Does RBION mean that all species of cactus except one are native to the Americas? I am pretty sure that many species of cactus could be grown in other places besides the Americas.

He needs an airplane. A private plane is a wonderful way to travel long distances.

According to this source cacti are grown around the world and there are four species of cactus that are not native to the Americas.

    http://eduscapes.com/nature/cactus/index1.htm

Excerpt:Members of the cactus plant family exhibit a variety of strange shapes, spines, and showy flowers. Even though today they are found around the world, all species of cacti except four tropical varieties are native to the Americas.

Did anyone else notice that the drawing of Pastor Joey Gilbert looks a lot like Harvey Weinstein?
