    Re-run? This cartoon’s heart is in the right place, but any reading that it refers to the present day Scouts (“Boy” having been dropped from the official name to acknowledge the admission of girls to the organization) would be mistaken. Both boys and adult leaders who identify as LGBTQ are allowed and have been for over five years.

    Even the rule against “atheist or agnostic” members has long been disregarded in general. Some sponsoring bodies of local troops, some of them churches, have decamped [see what I did there] from the organization though. But there have been Buddhist troops for almost a century and Unitarian Universalist members can affirm belief in “humanism” as their spiritual orientation to meet the “God” rule.
