Absolutely nailed it. And I am an actual Scientist. Funny thing is that I was inspired to become a PhD scientist because I grew up during the Apollo missions. Then when I finally earned my PhD I realized just what a absolute waste of money manned space flight is in reality. The Mars rovers have given us 16 years of continuous exploration for a fraction of what it would cost to be humans on Mars.
