My dog has terrible dreams. He growls, barks, yips, moans, and twitches when he sleeps. He’s terrified of thunder and fireworks. We adopted him from a shelter that takes in animals from kill shelters. I know he came from the eastern part of our state, he had a torn ear with sutures in it and was very skinny. Someone had worked with him, he shakes hands, sits, lays down, and rolls over on command. I wish I knew what his life was like before he came to be our boy. I think he was being trained as a hunting dog and being frightened of loud noises he washed out. He’s a Labrador/Hound mix. He’s just our BBD (big, black, dog). He doesn’t have to worry about being fed or have to carry dead things in his mouth EVER.
