Boy, if there’s anything that a Chrysler product of that era DIDN’T do it was overheat. They had big copper core radiators in them!

Ah, the DeSoto is back. We were worried. You can tell it is old. My spell check never heard of DeSoto.

That DeSoto has the hots for Irv!

My first car was a ‘64 Bonneville that had a back seat large enough to park a Smart car in. It also had the 389 CID engine with a 4-barrel (make that “toilet bowl”) carburetor. All sorts of power, pass anything on the road but a gas station!

For a short time in high school, our family car was an old Nash. It was slow and ugly, but the front seats folded flat so that the entire interior of the car was almost like a bed. Great date car!

They still make fast cars. Have you ever tried a Porsche Turbo? Modified, it will do 0 to 60 in 3.1 seconds. It corners well too.

My first car was a Triumph TR3. I needed something more practical, so after a few months I got a VW Beetle. I hit a deer with the VW, and it was never the same. It lasted through the first 2 years of college.

Hey Cosmo, time to retire the DeSoto for a nice new Oldsmobile … err Plymouth … Saturn … Pontiac ,,, Eagle …

Oh, heck, just keep that DeSoto, why get a dead brand?

By the way, when is the Mercury brand going to be killed?

I always suspected. He doesn’t fix everything because he’s having an affair, tinkering with the DeSoto. Spending the holiday with the one he loves.

I learned to drive in a ‘69 Chevy Kingswood, 9 passenger station wagon (the rear 2 seats folded flat, to a bed), with a 427 that wanted to idle at 80 mph. E Haw Unum.

Grog said, “Then fix her this time.”

But Grog, “sometimes a thing gets broke, can’t be fixed.”

Have a Blessed Thanksgiving to all!
