I don’t have a smart phone, but that’s because I spent 38 years in IT and don’t buy technology that I don’t need. No connected thermostat, door lock, tennis ball, etc.
It seems almost useless to repair a phone; whatever one you have now, will be obsolete in a few months anyway. Oh, and I’ve never paid more than $100.00 for a smartphone. It’s the principle…

I just give my device to my 7 year old grandson and in a jiffy it is fixed.

I like the smart phone for the calendar (helpful when making Dr. Appointments & a few other features, but I don’t hold it 24hrs. Just when I need it.
