Poor squirrel!

Some Seattle cops just got in trouble for rescuing a squirrel:

Hey, thinks Neal, why didn’t it just fly south for the winter?

The squirrel is soon plagued by thoughts of Neal pulling out of his funk and getting the nuts and corn out on the frikin feeder.

Actually, I don’t think squirrels are plagued by any sort of philosophical dread….

Their thoughts go like this “nut” “nut” “nut” “nut” “nut” “nut” “poop” “nut” “nut” “nut” “nut” “nut” “nut” “oooh lady squirrel….” (censored) …. “nut” “nut” …

Just go back to bed until Summer.

Neal suddenly realizes that he has never heard of – let alone, seen – any of the movies nominated at last night’s Oscars.

I am sooo ready for spring.

I’m ready for the return of warm rain, as opposed to the cold rain i’m getting now.

Locally we had a nice mid-winter thaw, people thought Spring had sprung, then we got hit with Second Winter.
