Guess Ralph has the animals introduce themselves periodically, so newcomers to the strip will know their names.
Does Horatio have a bad memory? That could be a humorous trait. (Ever since mine has gotten worse, it has been a gold mine of jokes by and about me.)
It’s just that dogs are so eager to please. Horatio wants to help Rory even when he helps him every other day.
