Yes this is sad. On the holidays it brings to mind all the homeless people and animals, trying to stay warm and have some warm food in cold, winter-like conditions. At least he has tortoise, a tad grumpy, but a friend.
My comment to my wife, just now, was, “I wanna adopt a dog.” He (or she) will be a welcome addition to our three chihuahua’s and our cat. Come on home, boy (or girl?)
