Come now, we’ve had worse. Grow a pair.
The winter I was in 10th grade we had a blizzard tat closed schools for a week. My dad was still with Ma Bell, and we didn’t see him for several days. He said people were bringing the men hot coffee and sandwiches.
And somewhere beyond human comprehension, what Charles Dickens once referred to as “the genius of the weather” is saying “Hold my pint.”
Having moved to North Idaho from Southern California 4 years ago, this is the worst and longest winter of my life.
There have been birdies checking out our birdhouses. They are ready for spring to start. That’s my inspiration.
