What rug is our detective trying to throw into the works? Perhaps we will find out on Wednesday. Or perhaps we will be having a holiday break.

Maybe Mr. GC was trying to pull the rug out from under Sherpa.

As long as he doesn’t try it in mid-stream, Rusty should be okay.

So … … … the evil spirit of Vlad the Impaler yanked out Mr. GC’s rug, causing him ( GC) to fall over, hit the deck hard, and shatter his skull?

while super-sleuth (and self-admitted suspect!) Sam Basset still slaves away at a solution…

to the mysterious murder on the mystery train.

Do you believe Sam when he says he didn’t do it?

Hard to think big brown basset eyes are lying.

More to the point…. should Sam believe himself?

Sure… he says he’s the good guy…. but can he prove it?

So far nobody cops to the killing….

Sure, Vlad comes closest… and some of you already think hedunnit.

But I’m leery of assuming the most obvious choice will turn out to be the killer..

Murder mysteries are so often served with a twist.

No longer a one horse race.

Could be that he was murdered by a rugged individual 2ho n3eded a throw rug.

The suspense is killing me. Or is it that darn headache and feeling sick… No; nothing serious. Just forking inconvenient.

Episode IX-2: It’s so hard knowing whodunit and being sworn to secrecy.

Aha! So Mr. GC wasn’t murdered. He tripped and fell on that pesky throw rug. Then he threw it out the window because he never wanted to see it again. Since he had a large bump on his head from the fall, he laid down on the bed to help the pain go away.

Simple solution.

So another mystery evolves. What happened to the throw rug? Mounting tension!

I know who did it. I’m not going to tell, but the murderer who murdered the man told Sam Basset who the murdered man was without Sam Basset telling the murderer the occupation of the murdered man.
