When I as five I did that to my mom’s friend’s little 3 year old. I wanted her curls for myself, so I cut a swath down the middle of her head and put the hair on my head!

Nobody laughed and nobody forgot either. I heard the story as long as my mother was alive. “Remember when you cut Marlene’s hair off?”
