Thanks for both–our fourth child miscarried, and we feel uncomfortable in miscarriage support groups because so many folks there have never had children. From family, we get a gentler version of the same message–at least you have three.

But would you say the same thing if the youngest had gone to term, been born, then died?
Can you understand that we feel the same sense of loss?

j2p2 I’m sure that child was loved even before conception.Although words are of little comfort, because you love, the world is a much richer place.
