three months late of taking out the ol’ pine, eh?
Tony asked, about 5 hours ago
You ready?
Yes, Tony, I am. Of course we got a cold spell again after I had ordered fresh earth for the balcony.
Hint: longer days and more sunshine are better sustainable when sober.
Ready? For Spring, of course I am! More than.
I was very happy about later sunsets.. .from the time change but also from the natural change of season.
For various reasons I’m not awake to be bothered by the later arrival of dawn, so for me, Daylight Saving Time is wonderful.
I realise your mileage may vary.
Anyway, after one week of blue skies, and the scent of Spring floating on the air….
we’re back to rainy grey days, with dark clouds and February temperatures.
I can’t complain about rain…. we need it desperately…
or about nights in the 30’s when some of you are getting winter snow again.
But it feels like such a step backward, when I’m so ready for some sun.
Tigressy…. Ordering dirt, around here, usually would mean you’re getting a LOT of it…..
otherwise we drive to a garden center and buy bags.
So do you fill the whole bottom of the balcony,
and plant an upstairs mini lawn?
Or just fill some pots and planters?
I was ready for spring after the first snowfall of winter, which was more than six months ago.
I love rain and warm weather, so spring is what I want!!!
I’m ready for baseball.
We are having sunny but chilly days here in Barrie. I’m ready for warm weather.
It’s not spring until he takes down the lights.
There are a few places around that still xmas decorations up… if they’re still up at Easter I fear I must take some kind of action.
I’m ready, but it really hasn’t shown up yet. Then again, compared to what the folks back east are going through, I really can’t complain about 60 degree weather.
I’d use it for a spring/Easter/equinox bonfire.
i once kept my Christmas tree up for 8 years…. :D
