Given the landscape… It is likely that toilet is an outhouse.. and they don’t flush.. the pile does get uncomfortably high though, but a good stick can fix that.. for a while.

A new toilet is a good answer. Toilets have advanced more than car technology. More power, less water, almost impossible to stop up. The plunger hasn’t been out in months. Install a good one yourself and it will be the best $200 you have ever spent.
